Job summary

The YMCA of the Triangle Area is seeking a Director of Donor Experience to lead donor engagement, stewardship, and relationship-building strategies that support philanthropic goals and advance the YMCA's mission in our community.

Under the Senior Director, you will develop campaigns, coordinate moves management, and collaborate with Marketing, Advancement Services, and frontline fundraisers to strengthen donor relationships and ensure equitable access to programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in related field preferred and 1+ years of related experience.
• Experience developing donor-centered communications and fundraising events.
• Ability to coordinate projects, workflows, and schedules in a dynamic setting.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead donor engagement, stewardship, and relationship-building strategies.
• Develop donor-centered communications, impact reports, and fundraising collateral.
• Partner with Marketing & Communications, Advancement Services, and frontline fundraisers to ensure coordinated donor engagement.
• Support moves management processes and donor strategy discussions across the Association.
• Oversee donor events, recognition activities, and sponsorship coordination.
