Job summary

YMCA of the Triangle is seeking a Director of Donor Experience to lead donor engagement, stewardship, and relationship-building aligned with the YMCA's philanthropic goals.

Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Advancement Services, this role partners across the Association to strengthen donor relationships and foster a culture of philanthropy that supports equitable access to YMCA programs and services.

Qualifications

• Degree in related field preferred; 1+ years donor relations experience.
• Experience developing donor communications, stewardship initiatives, and fundraising events.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and build community partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead donor engagement strategy to strengthen relationships and retention.
• Oversee donor communications, impact reporting, and stewardship materials.
• Partner with Marketing, Advancement Services, and frontline fundraisers.
• Support moves management and coordination of donor strategies.
• Ensure donor data integrity and reporting in fundraising systems.
