Working closely with the CEO, Board and volunteers, this role develops and executes strategies across annual giving, major gifts, grants, endowment, events, and sponsorships to achieve annual revenue goals and position the Y as a charity of choice in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in fundraising, development, grants, communications, or related field.
• Experience developing and implementing fundraising strategies and donor stewardship.
• Knowledge of annual giving, major gifts, corporate/foundation relations, events, sponsorships, endowment, planned giving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, project management, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with donor databases/CRM and productivity tools.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive annual development plan aligned with mission and revenue goals.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual, corporate, foundation, and community donors.
• Develop major gifts prospects and coordinate solicitation strategies with leadership.
• Research and manage grants; monitor budgets and reporting.
• Direct annual giving campaigns, events, sponsorships, and donor communications.
• Lead and collaborate with staff, volunteers, and Board to integrate fundraising into strategy.
• Ensure fundraising policies, ethics, donor confidentiality, and compliance are maintained.
