Job summary

CVS Health Digital is building a high‑impact identity platform team to modernize authentication, profile management, and access controls across Health100, Caremark, Specialty, Retail and digital experiences. The Lead Director – Digital Engineering will shape strategy, delivery, and operations for customer identity platforms and services at scale.

Qualifications

10+ years in Software/Platform Engineering or related tech disciplines.
7+ years in people leadership of engineering managers/senior managers.
5+ years driving cloud-native transformation and API-first architectures.
Strong understanding of CIAM, authentication/authorization, and identity security principles.
Experience in budgets, vendor partnerships, and technology investments.

Responsibilities

Lead a multi-team engineering org for authentication services, profile management, identity integrations, and platform operations.
Drive scalable, cloud-native, API-first identity capabilities while ensuring secure, seamless customer experiences.
Oversee modernization efforts and AI-enabled transformations to boost productivity and customer outcomes.
Manage risks, dependencies, and cross-workstream coordination; deliver end-to-end program plans and status reporting.
Build strong partnerships with Product, Security, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Business teams to deliver the roadmap.
