Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore seeks a Director of Development to lead the fundraising strategy for the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and a smaller development office. You will partner with the department chair, faculty, grateful patients, alumni and institutional partners to grow major gifts, principal gifts, annual giving and stewardship.

You will build and mentor a high‑performing team, set ambitious goals, manage budgets, and ensure donor intent and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Seven years professional level fundraising experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Advanced CRM and MS Office familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Lead a complex team of professional and support staff, including directing personnel actions.
• Implement fundraising strategies and priorities for a complex division or department.
• Create and implement strategies for pipeline building through data analytics and outreach.
• Oversee, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve goals and ensure compliance.
• Cultivate and maintain major and principal gift donor relationships.
• Align team activities to advance departmental and organizational priorities.
