The New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) seeks an Administrative Supervisor of Building Maintenance M-II to act as Director of Design and Construction. You will oversee DHS capital projects, supervise managers, and ensure schedules, scopes, and budgets align with funding and compliance requirements.

Role requires extensive construction leadership experience and a strong ability to coordinate across agencies, manage procurement, and report project progress to senior officials.

Formación

• Eight years of full-time construction/maintenance experience in large-scale buildings, with 18+ months in a supervisory/administrative capacity.
• Equivalence: college education toward a BA in engineering, architecture, or related field with 18+ months of supervisory/administrative experience.

• Oversee multiple DHS construction projects and set timetables for timely completion.
• Supervise project managers and implement administrative procedures for construction management.
• Manage capital projects by prioritizing scopes, schedules and budgets.
