Qualifications

• Six years of full-time electrician experience within the last fifteen years, at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• At least four years plus qualifying electrician experience and training to make up the remaining required time, with at least one year supervising electrician work within the last fifteen years.

Responsibilities

• Manage electricians and assistants in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across DHS facilities.
• Supervise, coordinate, and perform electrical work to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards and necessary repairs.
• Develop and implement electrical maintenance schedules and safety protocols.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices and safety procedures.
• Maintain logs of all electrical work, inspections, and repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and dispatch resources.
