Job summary

Apryse is seeking a Director of Data Platform & Operations to act as the technical backbone and people leader of the data organization. You will architect and maintain data infrastructure, lead Data Engineering, Data Governance, and BI/Analytics teams, and own the data foundation for AI initiatives.

This hands-on leadership role blends architecture, engineering, people management, and strategic partnership with the business to ensure trustworthy, accessible data for analytics and AI-powered

Qualifications

• Experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines.
• Strong SQL/DDL skills and working proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with dimensional modeling and schema design, and ownership of a data warehouse or lakehouse.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Data Engineering, Data Governance, and BI/Analytics teams.
• Own the BI strategy — define how the business accesses trusted data.
• Design and own the overall data platform: warehouse/lakehouse structure and data modeling standards.
• Build, orchestrate, and maintain data pipelines from source systems to governed models.
• Manage cloud data infrastructure and cost optimization.
• Translate business requirements into technical initiatives and roadmaps.
