Job summary

Second Front Systems is seeking a Director of Data & Analytics to build and lead our centralized data function from the ground up. You will own the full data lifecycle, from systems integration to BI reporting, partnering with senior leaders to enable faster, better decisions.

You will design the long-term vision, hire and develop an analytics team, and create scalable dashboards and insights across Finance, GTM, Mission, Product, and Operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data, analytics, or business intelligence, including 3+ years leading a function or company-wide data initiative.
• Demonstrated experience building an analytics capability where little or none existed.
• Advanced SQL and hands-on experience with modern data stacks and BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect the data warehouse, cloud platform, pipelines, data models, and BI infrastructure.
• Establish governance, lineage, and KPI definitions for single source of truth.
• Build automated, recurring dashboards and operating reviews for leaders and boards.
• Govern self-service analytics to ensure consistency and data quality.
• Own platform decisions, vendor relationships, reliability, and security posture across data tooling.
