Job summary

Second Front Systems is seeking a Director of Data & Analytics to build and lead our centralized data and analytics function from the ground up. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will own the full data lifecycle across the company - from systems integration and data models to governance and executive reporting.

You will architect modern data stacks (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks), define KPI definitions, and enable scalable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

8+ years in data, analytics, or BI.
3+ years leading a function, team, or company-wide data initiative.
Hands-on with modern data stacks including cloud warehouses and dbt.
Experience building reporting consumed by executives, boards, or investors.
Designing data governance frameworks across finance, sales, and engineering.

Responsibilities

Architect data warehouse, cloud platform, pipelines, data models, and BI infra.
Establish governance, definitions, and lineage for KPIs in a single governed place.
Own the full data lifecycle across the company from systems to insights.
Lead a data function from ground up and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Translate technical implementations into business decisions and vice versa.
Embrace ambiguity and own outcomes, driving measurable results.
