Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH in Ridgefield, CT is seeking a senior marketing leader to oversee the development and execution of US brand strategy for new launches or indications. You will guide cross-functional teams, align promo plans, and drive omnichannel initiatives to meet business goals.

The role emphasizes strategic ownership, leadership, and collaboration with medical, sales, and external partners, with hybrid on-site work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
• MBA preferred.
• Ten-plus (10+) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or marketing, including six (6) years of US pharmaceutical marketing or related pharma experience.
• Experience working directly with digital partners to develop and execute initiatives strongly preferred.
• Experience in guiding and integrating digital analytics and driving metrics based optimization strongly preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of the marketing, selling and managed markets strategy for a US brand launch or indication.
• Develops financial and operational objectives; leads the brand team.
• Provides leadership and mentoring to cross functional teams; supports functional strategy.
• Lead omnichannel, non-personal promotion, peer-to-peer and congress plans; measure success with CRM metrics.
• Forecast and monitor Gross and Net Sales; ensure brand targets are met.
• Manage relationships with co-marketing partners and external agencies for aligned execution.
• Chair cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Managed Markets, etc.) and coordinate Brand plans.
• Develop and monitor DP and sample allocations and expenditures.
• Develop Phase IV and Life Cycle Management Plans to optimize brand value.
