Job summary

Year Up United is hiring a Director, Corporate Engagement – Business Development to lead new partner growth and drive internship placements nationwide. You will cultivate relationships from local to national employers, engaging senior executives and shaping strategic deals while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You’ll report to the Sr. Director and work hands-on to close revenue, build playbooks, and ensure smooth handoffs to delivery teams across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of professional experience in business development and/or consultative sales to enterprise-level accounts.
• Proven ability to generate leads, close new business, and manage annual sales targets of $5M+.
• Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities across senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of target accounts from local to national, driving top-down sales.
• Engage C-suite executives and decision-makers to present Year Up United’s value.
• Close new business and achieve growth KPIs, including revenue and placements.
• Transfer new accounts to Corporate Engagement colleagues for ongoing delivery.
• Utilize Salesforce.com to track prospecting, meetings, and outcomes.
