Job summary

Year Up United is seeking a Director of Corporate Engagement – Business Development to lead enterprise partnerships and drive internship placements across Local and national employer partners. This role requires building a robust sales pipeline, presenting to C-suite executives, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes aligned with Year Up United’s mission.

You will live within commutable distance to a Year Up United location and work on-site, coaching students and partnering

Qualifications

7–10+ years of professional experience in business development and/or consultative sales to enterprise-level accounts.
Proven ability to generate leads, close new business and manage annual sales targets of $5M+.
Track record in new business sales with strong relationship-building skills.
Excellent networking abilities with the capacity to engage communities and senior executives.
Strong business acumen and outcomes-focused selling style.
Ability to manage complex sales processes and pipelines and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a pipeline of target prospect accounts from Local to national scale and drive executive-level engagements.
Achieve or exceed KPIs: internship placements, revenue from new partners, and cross-selling of related offerings.
Attend events to generate new leads and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
Engage C-suite executives to close new business and establish durable client relationships.
Transition new accounts to Corporate Engagement for ongoing management after launch.
