Job summary

Year Up United seeks a Director, Corporate Engagement - Business Development (EOI) to lead strategic account growth with Employers of Influence partners nationwide. You’ll build new Fortune 500 relationships, close revenue, and hand off accounts to teams with robust onboarding and student internship programs.

You will mentor teams, meet KPIs, and advance Year Up United’s mission by expanding internships and leadership development for students across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

• At least 10+ years of professional experience in strategic account management and/or sales to enterprise-level accounts.
• Consultative sales approach experience.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close business, and manage annual sales targets of $5M+.
• Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to engage with C-level executives and drive strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of target EOI accounts and drive external activity and top-down sales.
• Review personal pipeline monthly to add or remove target accounts.
• Meet or exceed KPIs: meetings with executives, cross-selling, internship placements, revenue.
• Attend networking events to acquire new leads.
• Create proposals showcasing Year Up United’s model for solving talent needs.
• Oversee client account logistics and develop playbooks for colleagues.
• Establish relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners.
• Engage with C-level executives in formal and informal settings.
