VCI Construction seeks an experienced Director of Operations Management to lead and optimize all construction operations, project management, and field teams across markets. The role emphasizes safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost control, with a strong focus on workforce development and vendor management.

The position requires 10+ years in operations leadership within construction or telecom, a relevant degree, and willingness to travel 50%+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required plus 10+ years in operations leadership.
• Strong construction/telecom industry experience preferred.
• Proven leadership of large field teams and multiple departments/locations.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain, finance, HR, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for all construction operations and field crews across markets.
• Develop and implement construction management strategies to improve productivity and delivery.
• Monitor budgets, review financials, manage job costing, and optimize resource use.
• Oversee backlog and ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, and meet high quality standards.
• Enforce safety and quality standards in accordance with OSHA and regulations.
• Collaborate with HR to hire, mentor, and train personnel.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and subcontractor quality.
• Build strong relationships with customers and partners for long-term collaboration.
