Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC., a premier Southwest telecommunications and utility contractor, seeks a Director of Operations Management to lead construction operations, project management, design & engineering, and field crews across markets.

You will develop and implement effective construction strategies, oversee budgets, optimize resources, and drive safety and quality across all jobs while guiding a talented, multi-site team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of operations leadership experience in construction or telecom.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with multi-site teams.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ to field offices and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for construction operations, project management, design & engineering, and field crews across markets.
• Develop and implement construction management strategies to improve productivity and delivery.
• Monitor budgets, job costing, and resource allocation to maximize profitability.
• Oversee safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit, develop, and mentor personnel.
