Job summary

Lockton Companies in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Director of Commercial Construction Insurance Leader to drive client services for mid to large market construction accounts. You will lead a multi-level risk management team, guide pre/post renewal strategies, and act as first chair Account Executive to translate risk into tailored program design while maintaining client relationship and profitability.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years’ experience in client services for property and casualty including servicing and placement
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related program or equivalent education and/or experience in the insurance industry
• Current Property and Casualty insurance license or the ability to obtain immediately
• Advanced knowledge of P&C coverage lines
• Advanced knowledge of risk financing strategies and products available to clients
• Excellent relationships with insurance/carrier markets in assigned areas
• Intermediate/advanced negotiation skills for marketing and placement of insurance products
• Strong working knowledge of changing vendor landscape and new products and solutions
• Expert knowledge of federal and state legislation and legal issues in insurance
• Ability to compile, analyze, and interpret complex financial information for decision making
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Executive presence and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Strategic advisor for client satisfaction, relationships, and retention
• Experience with project-based, complex risk solutions for contractors and developers
• Lead client strategy planning and renewal stewardship efforts
• Negotiate with carrier markets and manage client-merchant communications
• Monitor account expenses, ensure billing accuracy and profitability
• Define client strategic goals and oversee renewal strategy and documentation
• Support new carrier relationships and renewal implementation
• Oversee client onboarding and documentation processes
• Establish reporting metrics and provide client summaries with highlights
• Promote customer-focused practices and assess service issues and opportunities
