Job summary

Narrative Strategies is seeking a Director-level senior analyst to lead our Competitive Intelligence Division, driving landscape monitoring and rapid-response capabilities across a client roster. The role owns standards, operating model, and analytical quality, ensuring rigor in day-to-day and high-stakes environments.

You will partner with Client Services, guide war-room operations, mentor junior analysts, and steward the CI technology stack, partnering with Creative, Insights, and Business

Qualifications

• 4+ years leading media and landscape monitoring in fast-moving environments.
• Strong analytical judgment and ability to translate developments into actionable insights.
• Collaborative partner with client services, insights, and business development teams.
• Expertise with media monitoring platforms (LexisNexis, Meltwater, BGOV) and AI-enabled approaches.

Responsibilities

• Firmwide Monitoring Standards & Quality: set and uphold standards for CI outputs across client accounts.
• Rapid-Response & War Room Leadership: own activation and output quality during high-stakes situations.
• Senior Analytical Partnership to Account Teams: tailor monitoring to client objectives and translate developments into counsel.
• Cross-Divisional Enablement: integrate outputs into storytelling, frameworks, and proposals.
• Technology & Platform Stewardship: evolve the CI tech stack and improve efficiency.
