Nscale in Houston, TX seeks a Director of Competitive Insights to translate market movements into field-ready playbooks. You will own the strategic narrative on beating legacy clouds and neo-cloud challengers, diving into parallel computing and network topology to expose competitor vulnerabilities and build a scalable intelligence engine for sellers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in CI, technical product marketing, or technical sales within cloud computing, AI infrastructure, or semiconductor space.
• Deep technical understanding of GPU clusters, infiniband/ethernet networking, and the broader AI hyperscaler landscape.
• Proactive, investigative mindset with high agency in fast-moving markets.
• Exceptional storytelling abilities to turn technical advantage into a sales pitch.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Threat Modeling: monitor and reverse-engineer product roadmaps, pricing, and data center deployments of legacy hyperscalers and GPU clouds.
• Actionable Field Battlecards: distill competitive intelligence into battlecards, objection-handling guides, and pricing takedowns for Account Executives.
• Win/Loss Analysis: conduct win/loss interviews and feed findings into GTM and Product strategy.
• Executive Market Briefings: brief the executive team on macro shifts in AI compute demand and supply chain bottlenecks.
• Architectural Benchmarking: partner with engineering to benchmark competitor clusters and prove Nscale's latency, PUE, and TCO advantages.
