Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to serve as a national SME in Commercial Property & Casualty and agency operations. You will partner with leadership to advance objectives, standardize workflows, and drive scalable performance across the organization.

The role reports on operational excellence, supports producers and account teams, and plays a key part in M&A integration and transformation.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Divisional and Regional Leadership to develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and quality.
• Evaluate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing, workload, and capacity to plan for growth.
• Coordinate with Managed Services for resource alignment.
• Provide national P&C guidance on operations and systems.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and alignment.
• Collaborate with producers and leaders to drive adoption of new processes.
• Promote effective use of EPIC, reporting tools, and technology.
