Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Engineering & Technology in New York. This hands-on role combines advanced CNC engineering, process development, and shop-floor leadership to elevate manufacturing performance.

You will drive modernization through automation, digital tools, and AI integration, while leading engineering teams and coordinating with operations, quality, and leadership to meet capacity, quality, and delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC programming and troubleshooting on the shop floor.
• Ability to develop manufacturing processes from engineering drawings to production.
• Experience interpreting drawings and GD&T and applying tolerance stackups.

Responsibilities

• Lead the methodizing of new work with routings and work instructions.
• Provide direct technical support for CNC programming and tooling.
• Lead tooling and fixture design and implementation.
• Improve cycle times, tool life, and process capability.
• Digitize CNC operations and implement data collection and digital work instructions.
