Job summary

Cigna Healthcare seeks a strategic leader to oversee a team of Client Managers responsible for sustaining persistency, revenue growth and exceptional client experiences across the CORE East portfolio for GHB in the Americas.

The role partners with Sales, Underwriting and other functions to translate business priorities into actionable team objectives, manage renewals, and drive performance. Travel to visit clients/brokers is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in account management or benefit consulting.
• Prior management/supervisory experience and/or demonstrated competencies in this area.
• Strong understanding of the global health benefits landscape, complex employer-sponsored benefit programs, and the needs of multinational clients preferred.
• Exceptional relationship and account management skills required, with demonstrated ability to influence senior client and broker stakeholders; strong negotiation, renewal and escalation-management capabilities are critical.
• Demonstrated experience with consultative client management methodologies.
• Must be willing to travel as needed to visit clients and brokers in market.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience interpreting health insurance underwriting, pricing, trend, claims and portfolio performance, preferred.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and portfolio-management capability, with the ability to translate business objectives into practical client and team strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Client Managers to achieve financial, retention and growth goals.
• Drive renewal execution and risk management across CORE East.
• Develop client-specific strategies and collaborate with Sales and Underwriting.
• Mentor and develop talent and leadership within the team.
• Represent CORE East in executive-level engagements with clients and brokers.
