Job summary

Cigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, seeks a strategic leader to direct a team of Client Managers for CORE East under GHB. You will drive retention, growth and client experience across a complex portfolio, while partnering with Sales, Underwriting and matrix teams to deliver priority initiatives.

Responsibilities include developing client strategies, mentoring top performers, and maintaining senior-level relationships with clients and brokers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent relevant experience; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in account management or benefit consulting.
• 5+ years employee benefit experience.
• Prior management/supervisory experience and/or demonstrated competencies in this area.
• Strong understanding of the global health benefits landscape and multinational client needs.
• Proven ability to influence senior client and broker stakeholders; negotiation, renewal and escalation-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages a team of Client Managers and oversees portfolio performance against key measures (persistency, revenue, membership growth, client experience).
• Drives renewal execution and retention strategies across CORE East, identifying risks and setting client-specific strategies.
• Leads talent development, hiring, and coaching to empower team growth and performance.
• Establishes market-facing leadership with key accounts and broker relationships.
• Forges strong internal partnerships to improve execution and client experience.
• Translates goals into team objectives and operating rhythms, ensuring disciplined renewal readiness and value articulation.
• Handles complex client/broker escalations with executive communication and timely resolution.
