Job Summary

As Catering Sales Director, you will coordinate and oversee all catering events, develop menus, manage costs, and lead sales efforts. You will also handle event planning, client relations, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop managers; oversee service techniques and policies.
• Prepare operational reports and budgets, manage receivables.
• Plan and direct catering activities and events.
• Create proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
• Ensure safety and sanitation compliance.
• Maintain client database and vendor relationships.
• Manage budgets and financial targets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven sales success.
• Knowledge of current food trends and fine dining.
• 5-8 years in hospitality, including 3 years in catering sales.
• Leadership, training, and client service skills.
• Ability to write menus and supervise food prep and service.
• Knowledge of A/V equipment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
