Job summary

Savannah Technical College is seeking an Associate Director for Admissions to lead and coordinate the Admissions Department’s daily operations. You will supervise admissions staff, manage processing workflows, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements while supporting enrollment goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and several years of related experience in student services or higher education administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Public Administration, Student Affairs, Higher Education, Communications, Marketing, or related field and three years of progressively responsible experience in student services or related area.
• Related experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all admissions activities for new, returning, transfer, dual enrollment, and special population students.
• Provide direct supervision, training, coaching, and performance evaluation of Admissions Coordinators, Admissions Specialists, and other staff.
• Oversee application processing, admissions determinations, residency verification, transcript evaluation, and admissions documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies, Technical College System requirements, accreditation standards, and applicable regulations.
• Develop and implement recruitment, outreach, and enrollment initiatives to attract and enroll prospective students.
