Job summary

Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Atlanta is seeking an Assistant Director for Student Involvement to lead engagement and retention initiatives, including on-ground activities and cultural experiences across campuses.

You will travel to facilitate small group engagements, support student organizations, and develop leadership opportunities while reporting to the Office of Student Involvement. The role is essential in disaster response plans and university operations.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners to strengthen the university experience.
• Design, implement, and assess student activities; assist events team with large-scale, student-focused events and retention programs.
• Maintain accurate records of expenditures; develop programs aligned with annual budgets; assist with budget assessments and reports.
• Partner on major events such as Welcome Weeks, Spooktacular, and other initiatives.
• Lead off-quarter orientations, coordinate program planning and cross-department collaboration across locations.
