Job summary

Invivoscribe, Inc. seeks a strategic Director, Business Development to expand partnerships across pharma, biotech, and diagnostics from its San Diego HQ. Lead deal strategy, co-development opportunities, and global testing programs, with remote candidates in the Northeast on a preferred basis.

The role requires a strong network, proven deal-closure ability, and deep knowledge of molecular diagnostics and precision oncology. Expect high-impact collaborations and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of business development experience in biotech, pharma, or life sciences with a strong record of closing high-impact partnerships.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, MPH) preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, cultivate, and manage high-value partnerships across pharma, biotech, clinical laboratories, and diagnostic tech companies.
• Negotiation & Deal Execution: Lead full deal lifecycle—opportunity evaluation, structuring, negotiation, contracting, and operational transition.
