TechTree recruits for a global client seeking a (Senior) Director of Business Development to grow GMP analytical services across the US East Coast. The role is field-based with a focus on the Boston, MA area, leading new business development for analytical drug development services.

You will own East Coast accounts, provide technical input, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal teams to translate client needs into delivery, with travel up to 60% and a competitive base salary plus

Qualifications

5+ years in BD/sales at a CRO/CDMO or related field.
Experience selling in a GMP environment (CDMO or analytical testing).
Solid understanding of GMP requirements for drug development.
BS in Chemistry, Biology, Pharma or Life Sciences; advanced degree preferred.
Experience with pharma/biotech clients across modalities (NCEs, antibodies, ADCs, vaccines).
Willingness to travel up to 60%.
Competitive base salary and bonus; structured scientific and sales training.

Responsabilités

Prospect and win new accounts across the East Coast, from outreach to signed contract.
Provide technical input, lead client presentations and support proposal generation.
Negotiate contracts and build long-term partner relationships.
Work with internal scientific teams to turn client needs into delivery.
Track competitor pricing and offerings and help leadership size the market.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
