Selvita, a global drug discovery partner, seeks a (Senior) Director of Business Development - Analytical Drug Development to drive growth across the US East Coast. You will lead commercial strategy, identify high-potential accounts, and own the client experience from first touchpoint to signed contract.

This field-based role requires 5+ years selling GMP analytical and drug development services to pharma/biotech, with a track record of building relationships and negotiating complex deals.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in business development / sales at a CRO/CDMO or related field.
• Experience selling within a GMP environment.
• Track record of developing and managing internal and external client relationships.
• Experience working with pharma companies and biotech startups across modalities.
• Strong BD and sales strategy planning and execution, with a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication, marketing and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and adaptable; works well independently and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Develop commercial strategy for your region in close collaboration with the BD team.
• Prospect new accounts, plan your schedule, and generate leads through outreach.
• Call on prospective accounts, provide technical information, coordinate presentations and proposals.
• Own the deal process from initial touchpoint to close with a long-term relationship mindset.
• Prepare client-specific presentations and work with internal teams to deliver solutions.
• Track competitor pricing and offerings and help leadership size market potential.
• Represent Selvita at industry events and conferences.
