Datum Engineers seeks a Business Development Director to expand our presence by building relationships with architects, owners, contractors, and industry partners. You will identify opportunities, position Datum on pursuit teams, and support proposal efforts.

This role rewards connecting people and creating opportunities before a project is awarded. You will coach engineers, lead RFQ/RFP responses, and coordinate BD across offices to drive repeat business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development experience in the AEC industry.
• Existing network of architects, owners, developers, contractors, and industry partners.
• Strong understanding of RFQ/RFP processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with architects, owners, contractors, developers, and industry partners.
• Identify opportunities and market trends to inform strategy.
• Lead and coordinate responses to RFQs and RFPs across offices.
• Coordinate BD activities across offices and practice areas.
• Coach engineers and other professionals in relationship-building and BD.
