Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Facility Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
• Two to five years of responsible experience in facility operations, event management, athletics administration, or related areas.
• Experience managing large-scale facilities, events, or operations.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance, scheduling systems, and event operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of all athletics facilities, including competition venues, practice facilities, offices, locker rooms, concessions, and support spaces.
• In collaboration with the Lakefront Arena staff, develop and manage facility schedules for practices, competitions, camps, special events, and external rentals.
• Establish and implement operational procedures and facility use policies.
• Manage facility preparation for home athletic contests and departmental Special Events.
• Coordinate venue setup and breakdown for Special Events, including equipment, seating, signage, and event infrastructure.
