Job summary

Prosegur is seeking a Program Director to lead on-site security operations across multiple shifts in Portland, OR. You will oversee armed and unarmed officers, ensure compliance with client expectations, and maintain high operational standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage client relationships while coordinating cross-functional site teams. Strong knowledge of CCTV/VMS and MS 365 is valued; shift coverage includes nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-10 years security experience with 4+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Armed Security Officer license/permit required per state guidelines.
• Active state security license/guard card or eligibility to obtain before start (California).
• Ability to pass background/drug screening and motor vehicle records check.
• Must supply and maintain a personally owned, approved firearm.
• Strong written/verbal communication and professional customer service demeanor.
• Prior law enforcement, military, or armed security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs site personnel across all shifts to uphold service quality.
• Ensures compliance with policies, client expectations, and regulations.
• Serves as primary client contact; conducts regular reviews with client, GM, and site teams.
• Oversees scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance for proper coverage.
• Maintains post orders/SOPs and updates based on feedback.
• Leads emergency response and coordinates with law enforcement and EMS.
• Provides coaching and performance feedback to team members.
• Promotes positive client experience through open communication and issue resolution.
• Participates in hiring and training of site personnel.
• Ensures equipment readiness and inventory control.
