Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. seeks an on-site Sergeant/Lieutenant to lead daily security operations, manage officers, and maintain client satisfaction at the site in Portland, OR. You will ensure post orders, safety compliance, and a professional on-site presence.

You will supervise shifts, coordinate staffing, coach officers, and deliver incident reports and KPI updates to the client. A valid Oregon security license and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years security experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Armed Security Officer license/permit.
• Active Oregon security license/guard card.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check.
• Proficiency with common security systems (CCTV/VMS, access control/badging) and Microsoft 365.
• Willingness to work variable shifts, weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift briefings; assign posts and review post orders.
• Monitor site activity; enforce access control, visitor management, and alarm responses.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and pass-downs; submit daily DARs.
• Conduct post inspections and quality checks; correct deficiencies and escalate as needed.
• Manage badge issuance, turn-ins, and audit trails per client standards.
• Schedule officers; manage timekeeping and coverage for vacancies.
• Coach and develop officers; conduct on-the-job training and drills.
• Provide performance feedback and coordinate with HR/Operations.
• Serve as primary on-site client contact; deliver regular service reviews.
• Coordinate with Facilities/IT/HR for safety campaigns and audits.
• Prepare incident summaries and KPI updates for client and operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and site policies; enforce uniforms and readiness.
• Lead emergency response per site protocols; preserve evidence and liaise with authorities.
• Maintain post orders/SOPs; track licenses and certifications.
