Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. is seeking a Program Director who reports to the General Manager and oversees armed and unarmed security officers. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage client relationships and on-site teams.

You will ensure compliance with Prosegur policies and client standards, direct site operations across shifts, conduct regular reviews, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 5–10 years of security experience with 4+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Active armed security officer license/permit per state requirements.
• California state license/guard card or eligibility to obtain before start.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass background and motor vehicle records checks.
• Must supply and maintain an approved personal firearm.
• Strong written and verbal communication with professional customer service demeanor.
• Prior law enforcement, military, or armed security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs site personnel across all shifts to ensure operational quality.
• Serves as primary client contact; conducts regular check-ins and service reviews.
• Liaises between client, General Manager, and site teams across shifts.
• Conducts routine inspections and quality checks; corrects deficiencies immediately.
• Oversees scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance for proper site coverage.
• Reviews reports and logs for accuracy and timeliness per policy.
• Responds promptly to emergencies and incidents; provides oversight to supervisory staff.
• Mentors and provides performance feedback to team members.
• Promotes positive client experience through open communications and issue resolution.
• Assists in hiring and ongoing training of site personnel.
• Ensures compliance with policies, client site procedures, and laws.
• Monitors uniform standards, equipment readiness, and inventory control.
• Spearheads continuous improvement initiatives and cost-effective scheduling.
