Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking an AI UX Designer to lead design activities that connect insight, imagination and execution for the next era of computing. You will shape human-AI interaction patterns and ensure the end-user remains at the center of ambitious intelligent systems.

You’ll run user research and journey mapping to reveal pain points in human-AI collaboration, design non-deterministic interfaces and facilitate co-creation with AI engineers to align feasibility with desirability.

Qualifications

• UX / experience design or related field with a strong portfolio.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design and usability testing.
• Comfortable facilitating co-creation sessions and presenting to clients.
• Direct experience with AI, agentic AI/UX and data-driven design preferred.
• A POV on how AI can drive human-centered design and co-creation.
• Experience with emerging AI assistants (Figma Make, MiroAI, Adobe Firefly, Lovable, etc).
• Proficiency in Figma or Sketch and related prototyping tools.
• Experience collaborating with developers and product managers to translate research into delivery.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research to uncover pain points in human-AI relationships and map journeys.
• Design non-deterministic UI patterns handling AI latency and error states gracefully.
• Facilitate workshops and usability tests with cross-functional teams.
• Design HITL hand-offs to ensure transparency and trust in automated workflows.
• Champion inclusive, accessible AI experiences across diverse users.
