Voya Financial is seeking a Director of Engineering to bridge business strategy with technology execution and to shape a scalable, AI-native platform across Retirement, Employee Benefits, Wealth Management, and Investment Management.

You will own the enterprise roadmap, partner with product and engineering, and drive AI-enabled experiences to improve client acquisition, retention, and long-term value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience spanning technology, product, strategy, digital transformation, or engineering leadership.
• Experience leading large-scale digital platform or customer experience initiatives.
• Experience operating within highly regulated industries, preferably financial services, retirement, wealth management, insurance, or investment management.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into technology execution.
• Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the Business-to-Technology Roadmap.
• Lead the unified front door strategy and cross-functional coordination.
• Connect enterprise business areas through shared digital capabilities and AI solutions.
• Drive AI-native digital transformation across the client lifecycle.
• Define success metrics and governance for roadmap realization.
• Lead executive-level communications on priorities, risks, and investments.
