Job summary

Voya Financial in New York seeks a Lead AI Product Manager to define and execute AI product strategy for digital and wealth management solutions. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market plans for AI-driven experiences supporting retirement plan participants, advisors, and sponsors.

You will work across business, technology, compliance, and risk to identify opportunities, translate needs into requirements, and drive adoption while ensuring fiduciary and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years in AI or ML products in fintech/finserv.
• Proven experience delivering AI-powered products from discovery to launch with measurable adoption.
• Strong knowledge of LLM-based products, RAG, agentic workflows, evaluation frameworks.
• Experience writing clear PRDs and engineering specs.
• Experience in regulated environments collaborating with compliance, legal, and risk.
• Strong understanding of retirement/wealth management products and fiduciary considerations.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead AI product strategy and a 12–18 month roadmap for participant engagement, advisor enablement, plan administration, and investment experiences.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI opportunities via research, insights, workflow analysis and market intelligence.
• Establish success metrics and own business outcomes including engagement, adoption and retirement readiness improvements.
• Lead discovery with financial advisors, plan sponsors, administrators and participants to translate needs into product requirements.
• Partner with engineering to evaluate prototypes and drive trade-off decisions.
• Support rapid product iteration from concept through launch and adoption.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with fiduciary compliance and risk management requirements.
• Drive go-to-market planning, rollout strategies and adoption measurement for AI products.
• Build alignment across business, technology, compliance, legal, risk and investment stakeholders.
• Advocate for customer-centric decisions while balancing business, technical feasibility and regulatory considerations.
