Job summary

Farther is seeking a Director on our Advisor Business Development team to build relationships with experienced financial advisors and guide them from first conversation to signed agreement.

This senior individual contributor role requires running multi-stakeholder sales cycles that span months, with a high-velocity, high-variance compensation model and travel to Dallas for priority prospect meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales or business development experience.
• Experience running multi-stakeholder sales cycles that take months.
• Bachelor's degree and ability to travel to Dallas.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage established financial advisors and teams through outbound efforts, referrals, and your network.
• Own the full recruiting cycle, from discovery and platform demos through transition planning and signed agreements.
• Understand each advisor's practice economics and tailor the Farther story to fit.
• Partner with transitions, operations, and executive teams to deliver a smooth move for every advisor.
• Consistently deliver against annual AUM targets with accurate forecasting.
