University of Louisiana at Lafayette is seeking a Director of Advancement Technology to lead our technology stack for University Advancement. You will manage a technical team, own CRM Advance governance, and drive data-driven fundraising initiatives across enterprise systems.

The role requires hands-on SQL, strong leadership, and experience with Ellucian CRM Advance or similar platforms. Collaboration with IT, foundation, and campus stakeholders is essential for strategic technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related field, or equivalent
• 5+ years supervisory/management or senior technical leadership experience in IT
• 5+ years of technical experience in database development, systems analysis, or reporting
• Experience administering enterprise systems such as CRM/ERP or fundraising applications
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational DB development, including T-SQL and complex queries

Responsabilités

• Lead a technical team of 8–10 staff responsible for Advancement systems and data operations
• Oversee projects through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and support using Agile/Scrum
• Direct database development, SQL programming, reporting, and integrations for Advancement operations
• Own and lead CRM Advance and related applications including admin, configurations, upgrades, and security
• Design and govern integrations between CRM Advance and enterprise/fundraising systems
• Establish data governance, security, documentation, and system administration standards
• Analyze business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Set priorities and contribute to Advancement technology strategy and roadmap
• Participate in vendor evaluations, licenses, renewals, and budgeting
