Job summary

Onyx Care of Bernice seeks a Director of Admission to lead admissions strategy and drive growth for a post-acute rehabilitation provider. You will shape the admissions pathway, align operations with capacity needs, and ensure seamless transitions for patients.

You will build and mentor a high-performing admissions team, collaborate with physicians and case managers, and monitor metrics to optimize referrals and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective admissions strategies to drive business growth and ensure optimal bed capacity
• Collaborate with hospital and healthcare partners to build strong relationships and ensure successful referrals
• Lead and manage a team of admissions professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent patient service and high-quality referrals
• Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to inform admissions strategies and stay ahead of the competition
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
• Monitor and report on admissions metrics, including volume, source, and quality, to identify areas for improvement
