Job summary

Onyx Care of Winnfield is seeking a Director of Admission to lead the admission team and ensure smooth transitions for patients entering our facility. You will coordinate intake, bed availability, and collaboration with providers to develop individualized plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration or related field, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 0 years of experience in healthcare administration or related field (entry-level candidates welcome)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare software

Responsibilities

• Lead the admission team in coordinating patient intake, facilitating smooth transitions, and ensuring timely bed availability
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, families, and patients to develop individualized care plans
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective admission plans
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and other community partners
• Prepare and present monthly reports on admission data and trends
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient care and satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies
