Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking an Associate Director for Admissions-Events to lead the Welcome Center and Admissions event team. You will strategically plan campus visit programs for prospective students, VIP guests, and families, and manage event modules within the CRM.

The role directs a three-person professional staff, oversees recruitment events, and partners with EM Marketing to promote campus visits while ensuring enrollment goals are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years in Admissions, Recruitment, Enrollment Management, Event Management, or Student Affairs; or 9+ years equivalent experience.
• Experience recruiting diverse and high-performing students.
• Supervisory experience; ability to analyze recruitment event data; understand tech in recruitment; experience with recruitment marketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and manage three full-time staff (incl. an assistant director and coordinators) and student staff.
• Coach and lead team to meet visitation and event attendance goals.
• Support staff professional development.
• Lead campus-wide recruitment events; on/off campus initiatives to meet enrollment goals.
• Work with Marketing to promote events and campus visit opportunities.
• Manage tour/event attendee tracking in CRM.
• Maintain university brand consistency in event materials.
