Job summary

Outcome HC is seeking an Admissions Director to lead referral development and outreach across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The role combines marketing, relationship management, and admissions governance across multiple locations.

The candidate will plan promotional activities, meet key referral sources, present tours, sign admissions agreements, and participate in weekly UR meetings to ensure smooth admissions operations.

Qualifications

• Creativity is essential for developing promotional strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Experience with external liaison or marketing in long-term care is preferred.
• Familiar with Medicare/Medicaid/HMO and PCC processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotions, including educational events.
• Meet with referral sources such as elder care attorneys, senior centers, physician offices, and hospitals.
• Research physicians and partners in the target area to grow admissions.
• Promote facility services within PA and related markets.
• Achieve area sales goals with proactive outreach and relationship management.
• Present tours of the facility to prospective residents and families.
• Negotiate and sign admissions agreements.
• Attend weekly UR meetings to align on referrals and operations.

Job description

Admissions DirectorRequirements:

• Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities including, but not limited to planning educational lunches in and out of the building

• Meets with key referral sources e.g. Eldercare Attorneys, Senior Centers, Physician's offices, hospitals

• Researches physicians in our targeted area to partner with our facility

• Should be familiar with Philadephia area and the surrounding community

• Sell and promotes facility services in PA

• Build sales within assigned area according to goals

• Must be creative, self-motivated, and have a pleasant and helpful disposition.

• Must have long term care experience as an external liaison or marketer

• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills, and apply good judgment based on the principles of sound management
• Respond to SWs at hospitals and other facilities about referrals

• Familiar with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO

• Familiar with PCC

• Present tours of facility to perspective residents

• Sign admissions agreements
• Attend weekly UR meetings
