Excelcare at the Pines in Atlantic City, NJ, seeks a Director of Admissions to lead admissions strategy, grow census, and ensure compliant, smooth transitions from inquiry to intake. You will partner with nursing, therapy, and social work teams to coordinate care and maintain robust relationships with hospitals and referral partners.

You will oversee documentation, monitor census trends, and drive occupancy goals while upholding high-quality care and compliance.

Director of Admissions Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the admissions process from inquiry to intake
• Serve as the main point of contact for families, hospitals, and referral partners
• Conduct pre-admission assessments and ensure clinical appropriateness

Director of Admissions Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in admissions or marketing within a skilled nursing or healthcare setting and handling Post-Acute/Long Term Care
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance guidelines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with EMR systems and admissions tracking tools
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred
