Excelcare at the Pines is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead and grow our census in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role balances relationship-building, compliance, and occupancy goals to drive strategic outcomes.

You will oversee the entire admissions process, engage families and referral partners, and coordinate with clinical teams to ensure appropriate care and smooth transitions. Strong Medicare/Medicaid knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in admissions or marketing within skilled nursing or healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance guidelines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the admissions process from inquiry to intake.
• Main contact for families, hospitals, and referral partners.
• Conduct pre-admission assessments and ensure clinical appropriateness.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and social work teams for seamless transitions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of admissions activity.
• Develop relationships with hospitals, case managers, and community organizations.
• Monitor census trends and contribute to occupancy planning.
• Represent the facility in outreach and marketing efforts.
