Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc is seeking a Director of Product Management to shape the multi-year strategy for Engineering Excellence and Operations, driving the Splunk Observability Cloud adoption and regional expansion. You will partner with engineering, architecture, and executives to translate priorities into concrete roadmaps.

You will build and lead a PM team, align product roadmaps with enterprise goals, and optimize developer platforms and CI/CD workflows to accelerate secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software product management experience for enterprise B2B SaaS.
• 3+ years of direct leadership/mentoring of product managers.
• Experience defining roadmaps and managing product lifecycles for enterprise software.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the comprehensive product vision and multi-year roadmap for Engineering Excellence and Operations.
• Partner with engineering/architecture on clear product definitions, milestones, backlog priorities, and governance.
• Lead strategic direction for the Observability CoE and internal deployment of Splunk Observability Cloud.
• Define operational use cases, rollout plans, and scalable practices to showcase observability capabilities.
• Build roadmaps supporting regional expansion with localized requirements and dependencies.
• Translate regional compliance requirements into actionable product requirements and roadmap work.
• Elevate developer experience through platform/tools/CI-CD improvements for distributed teams.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing PM team with clear performance expectations.
