Job summary

The NYC Administration for Children's Services seeks a Director of Prevention MI Coaching to lead coaching for supervisors in the Preventive Provider agencies, applying Motivational Interviewing to strengthen practice under the Family First Act. This role reports to the Executive Director of ACS Workforce Institute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of professional social services experience dealing with children; 18 months in a supervisory role.
• Master’s degree in Social Work may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of coaches supporting Preventive Provider agencies in Motivational Interviewing.
• Oversee program operations and deliverables, drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with ACS leadership and stakeholders to align program goals.
• Prepare data reports and communicate findings and recommendations.
• Promote learning culture and coach-approach across the division.
