The role emphasizes analytical decision-making, vendor negotiations support, and cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising leadership to drive growth and efficiencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, retail/CPG, or banking/private equity.
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Tableau, SQL Assistant, VBA, Python, SAP/SAP BI, Teradata or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team of ~4 senior managers and analysts.
• Assess SKU/vendor/brand/promotional incrementality and analyze assortment productivity.
• Build strategy using data tools to support vendor negotiations.
• Advise Category Managers on vendor agreements and contracts.
• Conduct complex quantitative analyses and build analytical models (Excel, Tableau).
• Develop annual plans and budgets for category strategy and profit improvement.
• Design pilots and deploy tests in stores to measure impact.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Store Operations, and Finance to drive cross-functional initiatives.
