Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Retail/CPG, or Banking/Private Equity
• Experience in Retail Category Management, CPG, or Vendor Management with impact
• Merchandise familiarity and understanding of retail merchandising basics and structures
• Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools such as Tableau is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Merchandising team
• Assess SKU/Vendor/Brand/Promotional incrementality and benchmark assortment
• Build strategy to support merchant-led vendor negotiations
• Advise on vendor agreements and contracts
• Conduct complex quantitative analyses and build analytical models (Excel/Tableau)
• Develop annual plans and budgets for category strategy and profit improvement
• Identify opportunities and business cases for new capabilities
• Design pilots and deploy in stores to measure impact
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Store Ops and Finance to drive cross-functional initiatives
• Engage Enterprise teams to identify synergies and growth
