Job summary

CVS Health in Rhode Island is seeking an Inventory Analytics & Governance Manager who partners with Inventory, DC, and Merchandising to govern inventory changes and drive data-driven decisions. You will own the rubric, build analytical frameworks, and ensure alignment with financial targets while coordinating with cross-functional teams and maintaining SOPs.

Your leadership will bridge internal applications and enterprise planning platforms, enabling clear decision rights and scalable governance

Qualifications

3–5 years in supply chain or inventory analytics.
2–3 years SQL with Snowflake or similar data platforms; Python/ Databricks preferred.
2–3 years experience with inventory planning systems (Blue Yonder / JDA or similar).
Ability to apply a structured decision framework in an operational context.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; design tests and present findings clearly.
Strong communication and stakeholder management to translate findings.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the rubric for evaluating inventory changes with evidence standards.
Maintain audit trail of parameter changes, decisions, and test outcomes.
Collaborate with inventory planners, DC, and Merchandising to ensure governance.
Scope problems, design tests/pilots, define measurement methodology, track results, and synthesize findings into recommendations.
Evaluate financial impact, working capital, margin and service level implications.
Build analytical frameworks to support repeatable decision-making on policies and changes.
Connect inventory tools and understand Blue Yonder integration across systems.
Develop and maintain SOPs and training for self-service tools.
